The Dräger X-plore 3500 is a reusable half-face respirator mask available in three different sizes: S (3.3-3.7in), M (3.5-4.9in; fits most customers), and L (4.7-5.7in). This specific set comes in size M.

Both the X-plore 3500 mask and all Dräger bayonet filters are certified according to NIOSH 42 CFR Part 84. The body of the mask and the head straps are made of DrägerFlex, a combination of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and polypropylene, while the headgear is composed of polyester, elastodiene, latex, and cotton.

The X-plore 3500 Multi-Gas/P100 set includes the X-plore 3500 half-face mask and two Multi-Gas/P100 breathing filters, providing protection against organic vapors, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, chlorine dioxide, hydrogen fluoride, formaldehyde, ammonia, methylamine, hydrogen sulfide, and particles.

This set is ideal for a variety of applications, such as chemical work, spray painting, resin work, handling of toxic gases, acids, vapors, and fumes, as well as for tasks like sanding, grinding, and woodworking.

The easy-to-use donning and doffing, along with the comfortable and flexible head harness and adjustable straps with neck clips, ensure optimal pressure distribution and a secure fit.

The package includes one Dräger X-plore 3500 half-mask in size M and two sealed Multi-Gas/P100 breathing filters, all packaged in a brown box.

For wildfire, construction, renovation, or pollen-related activities, the X-plore 3500 P100 set or the X-plore 3500 Multi-Gas set may be more suitable. The Multi-Gas/P100 set is ideal for chemical work, spray painting, resin work, and protection against solid and liquid particles, while the Multi-Gas set is recommended for laboratory work and chemical handling.

To choose the right size, measure the length between the bridge of the nose and the chin. The shelf life of the Multi-Gas/P100 filters is 4 years, and they should be replaced when the respiratory resistance becomes too high or an unpleasant taste is detected while using the filters.
